Overview of the UWP library

Several customers have tried to use our C++ or C# libraries with Windows 10 IoT on a Raspberry Pi. Unfortunately, this doesn't work because Windows 10 IoT is not a "true" Windows: it doesn't allow you to run Win32 applications. You can run only the new universal applications. We are currently working on a solution which would allow you to use our modules on all the Windows 10 versions, including Windows IoT. This post gives us the opportunity to review the matter...

Not long ago, someone asked us whether Yoctopuce would be interested in creating an ADS-B receiver. We politely declined because we would likely not sell enough of them to cover the development costs. But we suggested that it should be possible to find an already-made receiver and to interface it with Yoctopuce modules. And this week, we prove it...

How many USB devices can you connect ?

The USB specification plans for 127 device adresses on the USB bus, and it is tempting to deduce from this that you can connect up to 127 devices on a USB port. Unfortunately, life is not as simple: this naive reasoning does not take into account all constraints imposed by USB controllers. Managing the heating of a chalet with a YoctoHub-GSM-2G

A classic example of home automation is to remotely manage the heating system of a second home. In Switzerland, many chalets are equipped with heating systems which are managed by a device connected directly on the phone line. Most of these devices work only on an analog line. If you suppress the phone line or switch it to IP telephony, you must change the device. This week, we are going to see how to replace one of these devices with Yoctopuce modules.
