Driving a DC motor with a RC motor controller

You may have noticed that we have removed the Yocto-Motor-DC from our assortment. Some components were no longer available, and since we sold very few of them, replacing them with an exactly equivalent module was not justified. But as we will show you below, this does not mean that you can no longer drive a DC motor with Yoctopuce modules.

Using our libraries on old Macs

Recently, a customer contacted us to see whether our Python library was usable on an older 32-bit Mac running macOS 10.13. The short answer is no, as Apple has chosen to drop support for 32-bit machines in 2018. But we would like to explain why we can no longer release a version of our libraries that works with these older machines, thus dating back to before 2012.

Using Yoctopuce modules with the iRacing game

IRacing is a racing game simulation with realistic physics. To test this simulation, we dusted off an old racing wheel Logitec G25 that still works very well, but doesn't have LEDs or a display that can be controlled by the game. So we thought this was a good opportunity to add these features by using Yoctopuce modules. And as we'll see, it's not very complicated.
