VirtualHub, Hostname and RegisterHub()

So... you like Yoctopuce devices a lot: you installed many of them everywhere and connected them to a few Raspberry Pi on which a VirtualHub is running. That's great, thank you for your confidence. There is a weird thing though: you cannot manage to write a Yoctopuce program able to contact two Raspberry Pi at the same time..

New features for our serial interfaces

Yoctopuce serial interfaces can do much more then standard USB to serial adapters. One of their features which is not well known is their ability to record a communication, including the time interval between messages. To help you take the most out of it, we have just improved the user interface of these devices.

Using the Yoctopuce library with Java modules

A customer recently asked us whether our Java library was compatible with Java 11. The answer is yes. We are always careful to remain compatible with current versions, while maintaining backward compatibility. In the present case, you can use our library with all Java versions starting with version 6. However, Java 9 introduces Java Platform Module System (JPMS or Project Jigsaw) and, as we are going to see, there are a few additional steps when using our library with Java modules.

Shipping costs, Taxes, Fees, and other unpleasant surprises

Making your life easier

You probably know that our serial interfaces, such as the Yocto-RS232, the Yocto-RS485-V2, or the Yocto-SPI can run scripts autonomously. As we noticed that it wasn't always easy to write scripts that were correct the first time round, especially the part decoding received messages, we created a small interactive tool to help you test your expressions.
