Three new USB-C modules

This week, Yoctopuce announces not two, but three new modules in USB-C format. They are the Yocto-Proximity-C, the Yocto-0-10V-Tx-C, and the Yocto-MaxiPowerRelay-C. Let's not waste time and let's take a closer look.

Improving the Yocto-Volt and the Yocto-Amp

Yoctopuce offers a number of products which can measure alternating current, including measures on the mains. To achieve sufficient accuracy in this case, the older modules apply a sliding average over several seconds. This week, we're releasing a firmware enhancement for these modules to prevent averaging from slowing down the detection of power on events.

AutoGain mode added to the Yocto-Spectral(-C)

Since the release of the Yocto-Spectral and Yocto-Spectral-C, several people have been able to get their hands on this module, which enables color recognition and a measure of the light spectrum in the visible and near-infrared range. We were quickly asked if it would be possible to add an AutoGain mode, to automatically adjust gain as a function of brightness, in order to increase the dynamic range of usable measures.
