Feedback on using the MK802 under Linux

We spent some time in the last weeks to test how the RikoMagic MK802 is working under Linux in small embedded applications. We present here a short summary of its advantages and disadvantages for this kind of applications, as well as some pieces of advice and tricks if you want to try using it yourself.

MK802 and IPhone: a fireworks remote control.

In Switzerland, the first of August is national holiday. It's also the opportunity for every one to play with pyrotechnic devices: using fireworks is strictly forbidden the rest of the year. No need to say, during that night every one is having a field day. At Yoctopuce we were wondering if we could fire fireworks using an iPhone. Well this was an opportunity for us to try.
