Recently at Yoctopuce, we started to build, for internal use, many small boxes that some wouldn't hesitate to call "Smart Extension Cords", but which are in fact a simple application of the Yoctopuce technology: Wifi controlled extension cords. Yoctopuce & NEEO, the useless driver

For a long while, the Rolls of universal remote controls was the Pronto series, but Philips stopped manufacturing them about ten years ago. They had probably exhausted the pool of customers ready to pay one thousand dollars for a universal remote control. Today, the next generation is more or less ensured by Logitech's Harmony and NEEO. As NEEO provides an SDK, we wondered if we could use it to control Yoctopuce modules.

Using Yocto-Visualization with a YoctoHub-GSM

Yocto-Visualization enables you to very easily visualize data from Yoctopuce sensors, whether they are connected by USB or through a network hub, with the exception of the YoctoHub-GSM. Indeed, the GSM SIM cards available to ordinary people do not have a public IP address and are behind a NAT filter, which prevents the Yocto-Visualization to connect itself directly on it. However, there is a way to work around this issue.
