Implementing a hanging scale

This week, we are going to do some tinkering and build a hanging scale with a Yocto-Bridge and an Android smart phone. The aim is to weigh objects ranging from a few hundreds of grams to about twenty kilos, in order to weigh objects such a model air planes or bikes. Strangely, two widely popular hobbies at Yoctopuce :-)

Neopixel, Android TV and mood lights

This week, we decided to create an Android TV application which displays pictures and adjusts the room lighting depending on the displayed picture. This application isn't designed to compete with Philips' Ambilight, but simply change the hue of the room lighting depending on the dominant color of the picture, to create a "cosy" atmosphere.

Our new Android app: Yocto-Toolbox

We often receive requests for an Android version of the VirtualHub. It doesn't exist, but we provide an Android library enabling developers to use our modules directly from their app. However, we didn't have a solution for users who don't want to develop their own applications. We adjust our aim by announcing our new Android application: Yocto-Toolbox.
