Great news! the whole range of Yocto-Devices enclosures is now available on our shop. It's probably time for a recap on those enclosure specs, so you can choose the one that fits your need.
All enclosures are made of one base and one lid, tied together with screws and captive nuts. All screws are Allen, M2.5 size. The matching tool is included in the kit
Enclosures parts are tied using screws
Lids comes in two heights. As a general rule, all devices with a terminal block requires a thick lid, the other ones can use a thin one.

Some lids have extra vents
Regular lids have a Yoctopuce logo engraved on top, but starting with 9 enclosures ordered at the same time, we can engrave the logo of your choice, for free. Contact us for more details.
The logo on the lid can be customized
Bases come in 3 lengths: long, short and very short. This combined with the lids allow to build five enclosure sizes. Five, not six, because there is no Very-Short-And-Thick enclosure.
The bases come in 3 sizes.
The bases can be black or translucent. They have fixing clamps, but those can be removed if needed.

The bases also have embedded magnets allowing to make them stick on ferromagnetic materials. Because theses magnets uses a patented technology, we are not allowed to export those to United-States, Canada and Japan. Therefore, enclosures exported to these countries do not have magnets.

An adhesive is provided in the kit, so you can make them stick on any smooth surface.
Bases can be self-adhesive.
We also have something special for the sensor break-outs. Very small enclosures will allow you install those sensor parts anywhere you want. Please note: Picoflex connectors will not fit in those sensor enclosures, you will have to use your solder iron for the wiring.
Sensor breakout also have their own enclosure
On our online shop, each device have the best fitting enclosure listed in the "Accessories" section. There are some exceptions though: there is no enclosure fitting the Yocto-PowerColor and the Yocto-Color. But if you break those apart, the USB part will then fit in a short enclosure and the Yocto-Color Leds can be placed in a sensor enclosure.
The Yocto-Color does not fit in a enclosure, but the parts can.
Right now there is no enclosure available for double-width modules such as the Yocto-MaxiRelay or the to be available YoctoHub-Ethernet. But we are working on it.
