You may have noticed that we don't list any enclosure in the related product section of the Yocto-LatchedRelay. The reason is that, because of the power it supports, this relay is a little bit to high to fit as is in one of our standard enclosures. However, if you are ready to do a little work, there is a relatively simple way to make a Yocto-LatchedRelay fit into an enclosure. Here is how...
When we designed the YoctoBox range, we didn't think that we would need one day to fit in it a module of the Yocto-LatchedRelay height: our modules are usually rather compact. But here we are: we wanted a latched relay supporting 2000W (8A) and we found it only in this size. It's only one small millimeter too high to be able to fit in an enclosure of the YoctoBox-Long-Thick-Black type. So where can we find this millimeter?
The simplest way is to slightly alter the base of the enclosure, in order to gain 1mm on the space between the bottom of the enclosure and the board:

Indeed, as you can see it above, there is a small safety space between the PCB and the base of the enclosure, to allow for through-hole components or the potential passage of fine wires. The Yocto-LatchedRelay does indeed contain through-hole components, but they are always cut in order not to protrude too much. In this particular case, we can reduce the safety space.
To do so, we need in some way to shave the five small supports that located where there are five holes allowing the enclosure screws to go through:

The simplest method is to use a sharp cutter (e.g. X-Acto or similar) to remove a small 1 millimeter slice to the supports. You can also use a micro-sander if you have one. Here is the result:

Shaving the supports also lowers the Micro-USB socket. So we must also slightly lower the base of the enclosure at the socket aperture:
