The Yocto-Temperature-IR is a USB temperature sensor based on infrared technology : it will let you remotely measure the temperature via a USB connection, as well as record the ambient temperature on its internal flash for later retrieval when connected again by USB.
This circuit has been designed so that the infrared sensor itself can be moved further away from the USB connector by a few meters: simply split the board into two parts and solder a 4-wire cable on the designated pads. Up to eight infrared sensors can be attached to the same device. The standard sensor provided on the device is a gradient-compensated, high accuracy MLX90614ESF-DCA, with a field of view of 90°. The Yocto-Temperature-IR however can use all variants of MLX90614 sensors. In case you need a Yocto-Temperature-IR built with another variant, contact Yoctopuce support.
