Yocto-Display-ePaper-C

the Yocto-Display-ePaper-C is a driver for ePaper displays. Compared to traditional display technologies, ePaper diaplys offer several significant advantages: they consume very little power and retain their image even when powered off.

The Yocto-Display-ePaper-C is capable of independently handling all the simple graphical operations you would expect from a display system, including displaying text in various fonts. It can even play pre-recorded animations. Its USB-based operation, which requires no driver, makes it an ideal solution as a small control screen for embedded applications controlled by a YoctoHub or a mini-PC.

The Yocto-Display-ePaper-C is compatible with most Pervasive Displays screens with a diagonal size of less than 5 inches. The user manual below contains a list of screen models that have been successfully tested with this module.

Important: that the Yocto-Display-ePaper-C is sold without a display; you’ll find a few models, sold with a mounting plate, on the Yoctopuce store. However, you can easily find other options from retailers such as Mouser or DigiKey.

This device can be connected directly to an Ethernet network using a YoctoHub-Ethernet, to a WiFi network using a YoctoHub-Wireless-n and to a GSM network using a YoctoHub-GSM.

USB cables and enclosures to be ordered separately.
