Yocto-MaxiRelay

You need several USB relays in a tight form factor ? The Yocto-MaxiRelay controls 8 relays. Each of these relay can handle up to 57 VDC (30 VAC) and 6 Amp. The relay state is reflected by a LED. This module does not need external power, but the host computer or the hub to which the module is connected must be able to provide up to 350 mA.

Be aware that this relay has a weak load breaking capacity, in particular for direct current: at 1A DC the relay will not cut more than 40V and at 5A DC no more than 30V. The contacts can very well stand power up to 1500W, but the relay may not be able to break contact while the load is too high.

If you need to drive higher currents, consider using several Yocto-PowerRelay or using a Yocto-MaxiCoupler to drive high-voltage relays instead.

The Yocto-MaxiRelay is not produced anymore. The replacement product is Yocto-MaxiPowerRelay, which has higher switching capabilities.

This device can be connected directly to an Ethernet network using a YoctoHub-Ethernet, to a WiFi network using a YoctoHub-Wireless-n and to a GSM network using a YoctoHub-GSM.
