Detecting and filming the passage of a bike

When you jump with a mountain bike and you want to improve, it's convenient to film yourself so as notice your own errors. If there are several people, it's easy to give your smart phone to a friend and ask him to film you. But when you are alone, you must trigger the camera, climb back on your bike, jump, and then stop the camera. It's tedious, and you then have long minutes on video that you need to cut. This week, we are going to automate all this with our DIY project.

By combining it with a dedicated enclosure, one gets a tiny all-in-one computer, well suited to monitor various sensors. Implementing a hanging scale

This week, we are going to do some tinkering and build a hanging scale with a Yocto-Bridge and an Android smart phone. The aim is to weigh objects ranging from a few hundreds of grams to about twenty kilos, in order to weigh objects such a model air planes or bikes. Strangely, two widely popular hobbies at Yoctopuce :-)

A connected racing gate for mini-quadcopters

We have recently found remote-controlled micro-quadcopters, so light that you can use them inside without risk, even in an office environment. Some models are even equipped with a camera, allowing you to fly in FPV (First Person View).
