The Yocto-RFID-15693 is a USB RFID reader writer: it is capable of storing and read back any data you choose on an RFID tag. It can also work with several tags at same time. It's API has been designed to greatly simplify the programmer's work. The reader comes with one credit-card-sized RFID tag based on ICODE DNA chipset.

Please note that this reader is only compatible with ISO-15693 standard tags, and not with Mifare tags, which are ISO-14443 standard.

In addition to the RFID part, the Yocto-RFID-15693 features a buzzer, an RGB LED, an output for additional LEDs and two analog inputs for detecting the status of various resistive sensors: switches, push-buttons, potentiometers, etc...

IMPORTANT! the Yocto-RFID-15693 requires a 13.56MHz RFID antenna with a UFL connector to operate. This antenna is not included, and must be ordered separately. You can use the RFID-Ant-13.56 model, or any other antenna with a geometry more suited to your needs.

This device can be connected directly to an Ethernet network using a YoctoHub-Ethernet, to a WiFi network using a YoctoHub-Wireless-n and to a GSM network using a YoctoHub-GSM.
