Improvements to the display modules

At the beginning of this year, we reworked the programming interface for controlling Yoctopuce displays in order to make some improvements that we thought would be useful. Here are the new features that you can discover as soon as you next update our programming libraries.

New: the Yocto-RangerFinder-C and the Yocto-MaxiCoupler-V2-C

Once again this week, Yoctopuce presents two modules freshly converted to USB-C connectivity. As usual, they're equivalent to their Micro-B versions, but let's take a look anyway.

This week, Yoctopuce announces not two, but three new modules in USB-C format. They are the Yocto-Proximity-C, the Yocto-0-10V-Tx-C, and the Yocto-MaxiPowerRelay-C. Let's not waste time and let's take a closer look.

Improving the Yocto-Volt and the Yocto-Amp

Yoctopuce offers a number of products which can measure alternating current, including measures on the mains. To achieve sufficient accuracy in this case, the older modules apply a sliding average over several seconds. This week, we're releasing a firmware enhancement for these modules to prevent averaging from slowing down the detection of power on events.

AutoGain mode added to the Yocto-Spectral(-C)

Since the release of the Yocto-Spectral and Yocto-Spectral-C, several people have been able to get their hands on this module, which enables color recognition and a measure of the light spectrum in the visible and near-infrared range. We were quickly asked if it would be possible to add an AutoGain mode, to automatically adjust gain as a function of brightness, in order to increase the dynamic range of usable measures.
