Yocto-MiniDisplay

The Yocto-MiniDisplay is a very small 96x16 OLED display, driven directly from USB. It features a built-in controller which can render simple graphic objects, display text with various fonts, and even play pre-recorded animated sequences. Its small size makes it possible to use it for instance to display the individual status of each 1U server in a rack.

This circuit has been designed so that the display panel itself can be moved away from the USB controller, in case it needs to be mounted in a small custom enclosure. The board can simply be cut into two parts, joined by a 6-wire cable soldered on the designated pads.

This device can be connected directly to an Ethernet network using a YoctoHub-Ethernet, to a WiFi network using a YoctoHub-Wireless-n and to a GSM network using a YoctoHub-GSM.

Hello. I'm interested in the Yocto display, but first need to know if there will be support for the Ruby language in near future. Thank you.

@dsaito: Nobody asked for it so far, but if you contact us by email and tell us more about the exact environment where you need to use it, we will see in which timeframe this would be feasible

What is the operating temperature of the product?
and can I use battery(Mercury batteries or Lithium batteries or any other)for the power?

@danny ki: operating temperature range is -30..70°C. It's a USB device, so you are supposed to power it with 5V DC, consumption is about 30mA.

The API user guide in section 23.5 talks about connecting to a button and potentiometer. However, I don't see any documentation that explains where these should connect. Does the MiniDisplay really support a potentiometer and button?

@arj: looks like this API documentation part about anbutton was added by mistake: interface for switches/potentiometers is available on the Yocto-Display and the Yocto-MaxiDisplay, but not on Yocto-MiniDisplay.

Yoctopuce, get your stuff connected.
