The Yocto-MaxiKnob has been design to make it possible to build your own USB control panel with physical switches and buttons, while reducing the required electronic parts. It features 12 analog channels to read various resistive sensors, such as switches, push-buttons, potentiometers, etc. Each pair of input can also be configured to monitor a quadrature encoder, as used by some rotary buttons. Connect them to the header pins using simple DuPont cables (jumper cables).
The Yocto-MaxiKnob also has an RGB LED, but it can also drive up to 150 "smart" RGB LEDs as long as they are compatible with models WS2812B, WS2812C, SK6812, WS2811 and SK6812RGBW. You can drive these LEDs directly from your code, but you can also configure the Yocto-MaxiKnob to automatically play stand-alone light sequences.
The Yocto-MaxiKnob also have a small buzzer that can not only beep, but also play simple tunes.
USB cables and enclosures to be ordered separately.
