As an answer to recurring requests to Yoctopuce support, we added this week two important improvements to the YoctoHubs and to the VirtualHub to make it easier for you to use Yoctopuce sensors. The first one is the addition of an interface enabling you to configure the data logger and to retrieve recorded data in a CSV format. The second one is a new strategy for planning fixed-time HTTP callbacks.

We often receive requests for an Android version of the VirtualHub. It doesn't exist, but we provide an Android library enabling developers to use our modules directly from their app. However, we didn't have a solution for users who don't want to develop their own applications. We adjust our aim by announcing our new Android application: Yocto-Toolbox.

Several customers have tried to use our C++ or C# libraries with Windows 10 IoT on a Raspberry Pi. Unfortunately, this doesn't work because Windows 10 IoT is not a "true" Windows: it doesn't allow you to run Win32 applications. You can run only the new universal applications. We are currently working on a solution which would allow you to use our modules on all the Windows 10 versions, including Windows IoT. This post gives us the opportunity to review the matter...
