Free geolocalization using Leaflet

But this month, Google decided to make the use of the Google Maps API billable. This gives us the opportunity to have a look at alternatives based on free and collaborative development, which no longer have anything to envy Google.

Implementing a hanging scale

This week, we are going to do some tinkering and build a hanging scale with a Yocto-Bridge and an Android smart phone. The aim is to weigh objects ranging from a few hundreds of grams to about twenty kilos, in order to weigh objects such a model air planes or bikes. Strangely, two widely popular hobbies at Yoctopuce :-)

Test of the GT-521F52 fingerprint reader

We discovered somewhat by chance the ADH-Tech GT-521F52 fingerprint reader. As it is really affordable, less than fifty US dollars, we decided to buy one two, to see what we could do with it.

Our new Node-RED package

Some time ago, we published a Node-RED node which allowed you to use a Yoctopuce sensor in a Node-RED schema. This week, we publish other nodes which enable you to use Yoctopuce modules other than sensors, such as Yocto-Relays, Yocto-Buzzers, and so on.
