This device is a USB to RS232 adapter, that does not require a driver and does not install a virtual COM port.

It is able to autonomously interpret serial data coming from any RS232 appliance and expose measures as if they would come from a Yoctopuce sensor, with all inherent advantages: unique identifier, polling, callbacks, datalogger. Be aware that this device will not work with applications designed to use a COM port: it is designed to be used with Yoctopuce API only.

The YoctoHub-Ethernet is a Fast-Ethernet module that can host three Yoctopuce modules to access them remotely. It can be powered either by a USB Micro-B cable, or directly from the Ethernet cable (PoE compatible with 802.3af standard).

Three Yoctopuce modules can be connected directly, one of which can be fixed directly on the YoctoHub-Ethernet and connected using a Board2Board-127 connector. More devices can be connected thanks to the YoctoHub-Shield extension. The YoctoHub-Ethernet can power Yoctopuce devices up to 2A.

Hello

I would please need a little help here.
We have a old but reliable gas-measuringdevice which puts out a data string like this:

00 00 00 66 00 00 00 66 C8
19 01 00 67 00 00 00 81 C8
2E 01 00 66 00 00 00 95 C8

The first byte is the base of the measured Value and the second byte is the exponent of the measured Value. Ist it possible to store the Value in one genericSensor (Base and exponent calculated)?
