Yocto-MaxiCoupler Ethernet

Combine a Yocto-MaxiCoupler with a YoctoHub-Ethernet to get an autonomous appliance with built-in network connectivity:

Yocto-MaxiCoupler

YoctoHub-Ethernet

This USB device features 8 solid state relays, capable to switch high voltage from the mains, for small loads (up to 100 mA). It is an ideal solution to drive high-power relays, working directly from the mains. The state of each output is shown by a LED. This device does not require any external power.

Beware that each solid state relay can only switch at most 100 mA. The terminal block is officially specified for max 160V, but the solid state relay can stand up to 400V peak. Note that even when closed, each relay keep a 25 ohms resistance. This device is mostly meant to drive large electromechanical relays, but other uses are possible.

The YoctoHub-Ethernet is a Fast-Ethernet module that can host three Yoctopuce modules to access them remotely. It can be powered either by a USB Micro-B cable, or directly from the Ethernet cable (PoE compatible with 802.3af standard).

Three Yoctopuce modules can be connected directly, one of which can be fixed directly on the YoctoHub-Ethernet and connected using a Board2Board-127 connector. More devices can be connected thanks to the YoctoHub-Shield extension. The YoctoHub-Ethernet can power Yoctopuce devices up to 2A.
